Sold some prints!

Just a quick update.

Recently sold 3 prints!
This one of the Lowry is now my current favourite photo. Having printed this out for my client and decides that this will look great on my wall too !

I have recently been awarded the Licentateship of The Royal Photographic Society.

In order to gain a Distiction, I had to submit a portfolio of 10 photographs for approval by a highly qualified Panel of Fellows of the Society.

It has taken me over a year to build up to this. It was very nerve whacking sitting through the assessment especially as the Panel had deliberated on some of the photos. I am over the moon, but am already starting to work towards the next level.

Our C3 members helped out at Stockport Bonfire Display organised by Calvert Chapel.

They had put some Christian rappers and speakers on also.

TDS Photo Group first trip out!

I started a photography group at work and previously met up for a critique session and photo editing session. Yesterday was our first trip out of the building and we went to Bramhall Hall.

The weather breaked at the right time and we had some lovely blue skies and the sun came out too!

I went back to The Lowry for another dusk shot. I am quite pleased with the outcome from both sets combined.

Processing them was a but more work then usual. I modified the temperature and saturation quite a bit.

I took the second set half a stop down, which seems to help with over exposure of the bright lights.

DOH

Went out to take some night shots tonight at Salford Quays.

None of my shots came out..........because............I left image stabiliser on...

Not just ANY pub, if it's Friday lunchtime it's got to The Printers in Cheadle!
