Day 27:2013 - Bald Eagle
We visited Gauntlet Birds of Prey Eagle and Vulture Park in Knutsford, Cheshire. It houses over 120 birds from 46 different species.
Gauntlet has the largest collection of birds of prey in the North West and is one of only 5 bird of prey centres in the UK to be a member of BIAZA (The British and Irish Association of Zoos and Aquariums).
The weather was fantastic and I managed to get some photos of the kites catching their food in the air.

I went to CodeCode organiser meeting today at Madlab. Dr Andrew Robinson from Manchester University brought his twittering chicken which is controlled by Raspberry Pi and a PiFace board. School kids will love this !

Day 11:2013 - Candle in the Wind

At homegroup tonight we will be discussing praise and worship. My daughter was willing to model so she did a interpretive dance to YFriday's Holy Holy Holy.

Day 6:2013 - Threads
I was hoping to go to Gauntlet Bird of Prey Centre today but unfortunately it got very cloudy after lunch, so we took a trip to Qarry Bank Mill instead.
We go to Quarry Bank quite often but only go inside the mill maybe once a year at most. My daughter seems to have forgotten she has ever been there before, so all seems new to her.
I love that they demonstrate all the stages from traditional methods to modern water powered machines. It is definitely a great visit.

Day 4:2013 The Bear's Head
The Bear's Head in Brereton in Sandbach.
A long exposure with a car coming past just at the right time. Also managed to capture a plane's light trail too.

Day 2:2013 - A is for Apple
Trying to capture the texture of the flesh of the apple.
This would be a lot easier if I have a lightbox, instead I used the flash to light the apple from behind the camera.
Day 1:2013 Let's Twist Again
I am attempting another 365 again this year. This means I have to take a photo everyday of 2013. I will also attempt to blog the whole process, which I may not keep up.
I took this using Canon S95. I love the size of it and it has functionalities of DSLR.
I used aperature priority mode with this with exposure compensation of -2/3. The camera was balanced on the road side cabinet.
